I have some pretty EXCITING news! Guess who started the Whole30 challenge yesterday? This girl! I’ve never done a challenge like this before so it will be interesting and I am up for the challenge. I’ll be posting weekly updates of what I’ve learned, how I feel, etc on every Friday between now and the end of the month. WOOP WOOP.
Here’s what I ate yesterday:
On the way to work: Suja green juice
Breakfast: Dunkin’ Donuts medium iced dark roast black coffee, 2 hard boiled eggs and 1 avocado.
Lunch: Carrot chicken meatballs with cauliflower rice and grape tomatoes.
Preworkout: Blueberry RX bar
Dinner: Chicken sausage stir fry with zucchini and yellow squash
All in all, it was a pretty good start. The RX bar wasn’t great, too chewy for my preference but I made it work! I think this challenge will teach me to feed my body for nourishment, not habit or cravings or boredom. We’ll see how it goes!
